Welcome! PADS was founded in April of 2004 by Sharon Aizer. Sharon's love
of dogs and passion for flyball and NADAC agility led her to form a club for
like minded folks. As we all are aware, life brings about change and in the
spring of 2006, Sharon's plans included a move out of state. In an effort to
continue to offer our local dogs and their owners a variety of opportunities to
play/train with their dogs, Sharon and lifetime PADS member Kathy Lirette
worked together to keep most of PADS activities ongoing. PADS, in
association with Sonshine Kennels, will continue to offer quality
classes and NADAC Agility Trials. The Panhandle Supersonics joined up
with Five Flags Dog Training Club of Pensacola. The decision to affiliate The
Panhandle Supersonics Flyball Team with Five Flags Dog Training Club was made
by the team members in an effort to provide those interested in Flyball with
the most opportunities to compete and perform demonstrations at local
events. Though PADS is no longer acting as a club, past members have
joined together with Kathy Lirette to keep quality classes and events available
to members of our community and their canine companions.
Our main priorities and goals:
Promote postive training methods and better relationships between owners and
their dogs
Provide opportunties for dog owners to participate in activities with their dogs
Provide quality obedience and agility classes to all interested
dog fanciers and their four legged friends.
